“Mr. B.G. Ragland, of this place, and Miss Bertha Chipman, of Monroe
City, were married yesterday morning at 10:30 o’clock at the residence
of A.K. Rutledge, in the (above) place, Rev. Travis officiating. The
couple arrived here on the afternoon train yesterday and will go to
housekeeping the first of next month. We wish them success.”
