Undated announcement; original source unknown. Extracted from the
newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of
Madison, Missouri.





DIED.



"BURGESS - Mrs. Rebecca C. Burgess, mother of Robt. M. Burgess, died in
this place on the night of the 13th. Inst., at the residence of W.R.
Basket, in her 90th year. She was a member of the Presbyterian church,
and had been a consistent Christian for a long time. Her remains were
laid away in the cemetery near this place. Peace to her ashes."
