Undated article; probably from the Madison Times. Extracted from the
newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of
Madison, Missouri.
Death of Mrs. George Harley.
"Death is sad at any time but when it takes from us father or mother, it
is sad beyond expression. Death entered the home of George Harley and
robbed it of wife and mother. Mrs. Harley passed away February 22nd,
after only twenty-four hours' sickness, and was laid to rest in the
Madison cemetery after brief services at the house conducted by Eld.
Strawn. She leaves a husband, eight children and a host of relatives
and friends to mourn her death.
Miss Mollie Ellyson, daughter of J.W. Ellyson, was born February 2,
1860, married to Geo. Harley, June 1st, 1877, died February 22, 1901.
The Times with the entire community extend sympathy in this hour of sad
bereavement."
