How do I go about trying to learn what happened to the following ancestor:

Charles Rice Jefferson Twp 1880 Census
age 83 born KY farmer parents born VA
2nd wife Susan M or N
1st wife was Elizabeth maiden name Rice as well married 1819 Garrard Co.,
KY; Elizabeth died 1852
for the 1830 through 1870 Censuses Charles is in Ralls Co., MO
children I know of from census listings:
Anderson circ1832
John circ1835
James circ1840
Charles circ1854
Arrasee circ1856
Fannie B circ1858
there were two males born between 1820-25
there was another male born between 1830-35

Would anyone have a will index for Monroe Co. that would cover say 1880
through 1900; I doubt he lived past 103!
Would anyone be able to steer me toward a researcher that could check into
probate info on Charles and land transactions that might mention children.

I am trying to ascertain if one of the two males born to Charles and
Elizabeth between 1820 and 1825 was a George Rice who is the ancestor of my
husband.
