newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of
Madison, Missouri.

(.Unknown) burial of Mrs. A. (Farrell).

"(Angelina) A. Farrell, wife of Wm. Farrell, was borne with loving hands
to its last resting place in Madison cemetery, there to await the
triumph of the resurrection. 'Aunt Annie,' as she was familiarly
called, died at her home near Madison, February 1st, 1901, aged 80
years, eight months and four days. Deceased was a member of the Oak
Grove Christian church, having united with the church in Kentucky at the
age of eighteen. She was a woman of strong religious tendencies, and by
giving the church her unfaltering allegiance, did much toward the
upbuilding of the cause of Christianity. She was a devoted wife and
loving mother. Her devotion to her family was touching and beautiful.
Deceased leaves a husband and eight children, J.P. Farrell, of
Richardson Texas, Mrs. Mattie Kelly, of Denison Texas, Mrs. S.A. McCord,
Mrs. Ellen Snidow, Z.T., Thos. E., Geo. W. and John L. Farrell, and many
relatives and friends to mourn her death. Funeral services were
conducted at the house by L.F. Carter and at the grave, by Eld. E.M.
Richmond. The Times extends sympathy in this hour of sad bereavement."
