Untitled announcement; original source and date unknown. Extracted from
the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of
Madison, Missouri.

"Married, at the residence of Sam Nave in Middle Grove, last Thursday
evening, Mr. Arthur C. Davis and Miss Laura F. Burton, Squire J.F. Smock
officiating. The couple arrived here Friday morning and took up their
residence with Mrs. Burton, mother of the bride. Friday night some of
the kid element gathered with pans and bells and proceeded to shake them
over the heads of the newly married couple. It wasn't a first-rate
charivari case and there wasn't a very great demonstration. Success to
the bride and groom."
