Untitled, undated announcement; original source unknown. Extracted from
the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of
Madison, Missouri.
"M.K. Enochs, one of Monroe County's best known citizens, who has been
sick for several months and has gradually declined, died at the home of
his son, W.W. Enochs, in this city at about five o'clock Monday
afternoon. The time was when the name M.K. Enochs was a bulwark of
strength in both the financial and political affairs of Monroe county,
and his death, though not unexpected, is mourned by a large relationship
and keenly regretted by a host of friends. Peace to his ashes."
