Obituary.
"Death has entered the home of W.O. Maxey and snatched from them two of
their bright-eyed little boys. Wallace died on Sunday night, Jan. 24,
aged 2 years and 9 months, and little (Callie) lingered until Tuesday
morning, his age, 8 months. They were both placed in one coffin and
buried in the Swindell cemetery."
When we see those precious blossoms,
That we've tended with such care,
Rudely taken from our bosom,
How our aching hearts despair.
'Round their little grave we linger,
Till the setting sun is low,
Feeling all our hopes have perished,
With the flowers we cherished so.
