Untitled, undated article; original source unknown. Extracted from the
newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of
Madison, Missouri.



"Died, at his home near this place Dec. 29, 1893, R.F. Branham, aged 68
years. Deceased came from Shelby county, Ky., and settled in this
county in 1835, locating on the farm where he died. He was one of the
old settlers. The cause of his death was cancer of the face and neck,
which had troubled him for years. His remains were interred at Madison
graveyard."
