Untitled, undated announcement; original source unknown. Extracted from
the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of
Madison, Missouri.
"(Unknown) sad news was received (unknown) early Tuesday morning (that)
(unknown) Fred Rose, father of Mrs. Philip Hales, of this city, had died
about midnight Monday, at his home in Paris. He was about fifty-four or
five years of age and highly respected by all who knew him. Mrs. Hales
went to Paris Tuesday and her husband followed to attend the funeral,
which was held yesterday."
