Untitled, undated announcement; original source unknown. Extracted from
the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of
Madison, Missouri.



"Walter Thomas, son of R.E. Thomas, near Madison, died on the (26th) of
March after (a) long illness (of catarrhal) fever, followed by
(measles)."



(Note: Catarrhal means a nose and throat discharge from cold or
allergy.)
