newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of
Madison, Missouri.



"Cards are out announcing the marriage of E.C. Lightner to Miss Grace
Gregory, at Denver, Colorado, Wednesday, June 9th, 1897. Dr Harry L.
Lightner, and Willie May, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Lightner, will
leave tomorrow to attend the wedding and the happy couple will return
with them about the middle of June to visit the groom's mother and other
relatives before settling down to the stern realities of life."
