Untitled, undated announcement; original source unknown. Extracted from
the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of
Madison, Missouri.



"Russell Swindle, a Moberly lad who had many relatives in Monroe county,
was killed by the accidental discharge of a gun carried by his playmate,
Lansing Kellogg, Saturday. The boys were hunting east of Moberly when
the accident occurred. Swindle was standing directly in front of the
gun when it was discharged, the load tearing. (unable to read rest of
