Undated article; original source unknown. Extracted from the newspaper
article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of Madison,
Missouri.



Died.



"At the home of Jas. Carter, about nine miles south of town, of
tuberculosis, Mrs. L.F. Gritton, aged about 40 years. The deceased had
been ill for a number of months and bore her sufferings with Christian
fortitude and patience. She had been a member of the Christian church
for a long time and was a worthy and consistent follower of Christ. She
was the only sister of Judge Jno. T. Wooden, who is now the only
surviving member of the Wooden family. Her remains were buried at the
Swindell graveyard Monday afternoon."
