Untitled, undated article; original source unknown. Extracted from the
newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of
Madison, Missouri.
"Died, at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.M. Dawson, aged 17
years. Deceased had been down with typhoid fever for about a week and
was apparently much better at 8 o'clock on the night of his death as he
was sitting (up in) bed showing his little sister about her school
lessons. About (an) hour later hemorrhage of the bowels set up and he
gradually (unknown) until his death as above stated. The bereaved
parents have the sympathy of the community in their bereavement."
