Untitled, undated article; original source unknown. Extracted from the
newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of
Madison, Missouri.

"On the morning of the Fourth (the) sad news of the unexpected death of
Mrs. Nancy Brown, wife of 'Uncle George' Brown, was told in whispers to
friends. She was one of Madison's oldest and best loved Christian
women, and her death is sincerely regretted by all. A notice of her
death, by a friend, appears in another column."
