Death of H.H. Maupin.

"We learned from a telephone message from Woodlawn that Henry H. Maupin,
well known all over the county, had died at Kirksville at 5 o'clock
Wednesday morning, Sept. 28, of consumption. Mr. Maupin has been in bad
health for some time, and had gone to Kirksville for treatment, where he
died as above stated. He was in business for many years at Woodlawn,
and was a universal favorite wherever known. He was kind hearted and
generous to a fault, and made friends wherever he went. He leaves three
daughters who are left alone, as their mother died some years ago. To
those beautiful and dutiful daughters we tender our deepest sympathies."
