Obituary.

"The messenger death, who is no specter of person, age or condition has
recently invaded the home of (?.W.M.) and Susan V. Farrell (unknown)
taken from their fond embrace (two) noble and charming daughters,
(Lillie) R. and Nora L. (Lillie) was born in Madison Mo., March 31,
1881, and died April 9, 1886, aged (5) years and 8 days. She was the
youngest of five children.

Being beautiful and lovely in her disposition she was the idol of the
family, admired and loved by all who knew her. She was a bright little
jewel, gentle and winning in her ways, and the sunshine of a quiet,
pleasant home. But her angel spirit passed quietly away

Before her heart had learned,

In waywardness to stray;

Before her feet had ever turner

The dark and downward way.

Nora Lee was born at Woodlawn Mo., July 3, 1869, and died May 10, 1886,
aged 16 years, 10 months and 7 days. She had been a great (unknown) and
now that she is gone her intelligent eye, amiable expression and lively
form will greet the bereaved family, the large circle of her friends no
more on earth. But how sweet to know that her lifeless form will be
immortalized, and her gentle spirit will mingle (with) the white-robed
throng. On (her) pale brow rests the crown of (unknown). Her snowy
hands clasp (a) palm of victory and God has (unknown) all tears from her
eyes.

(The) flowers will bloom, the birds (will) sing, the rains will fall,
and the cold snows of winter will mantle her tomb, but her form will
quietly repose till the resurrection morn, then will come the glorious
reunion in the "sweet by and by." A large concourse of relatives and
friends attended the funeral services of the two sisters. Lillie and
Nora sweetly sleep together side by side, in the cemetery near
(unknown). May the Lord bless the dear (family)."
