In Memory of Loulie Hayden.

"Loulie, daughter of John and Caroline Hayden, near Madison, died of
heart trouble, Thursday, Oct. 20th, 1898, aged 35 years, 11 months and
10 days. She was a consistent member of the Christian church, and was
dearly loved by all who knew her for her many noble and endearing
qualities. She leaves four brothers and three sisters to mourn her
loss. She was so loving and kind, a devoted sister and affectionate
aunt. Oh, brothers and sisters, we will miss her, but think not of her
in the dark grave, but as in Heaven, and Oh, so happy with the angels.
Oh, prepare to meet your God, then we trust to mear our dear Loulie, and
meet to part no more, and join her in praise to God who doeth all things
well."

Loulie dear, thou hast left us,

Sorrow fills our hearts to-day,

But beyond this vale of sorrow,

Tears will all be wiped away.

Loulie dear, thou are sweetly resting,

Cold may by thine earthly tomb;

But the angels sweetly whisper,

Come and live with us at home.

She is gone - our darling sister,

Left this world of sin and care;

She is gone to be with Jesus,

In a world that's bright and fair.

She is gone, Oh! how we miss her,

Miss her cheerful, smiling face;

And her gentle words and actions,

Was so sweet and full of grace.

We are weeping, sadly weeping,

(For our) loss is hard to bear,

(Unknown) Jesus, gives assurance,

That her glory we may share.

Sister.
