Undated article; probably from the Monroe Appeal. Extracted from the
newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of
Madison, Missouri.

"Birch Hustead and Miss Kate Reid were married at the home of the bride
in this city, Sunday afternoon, November 20. The groom is an energetic,
hard-working young man and is an expert at this trade as a cigar maker.
Miss Reid is a splendid young woman, well qualified to make a lovable,
helpful wife. The Appeal voices the sentiment of the entire community
in wishing that they may go hand in hand through a long, happy and
prosperous married life."
