Obituary.

"The subject of this notice, Mrs. W.R. Capp, who departed this life at
her home, seven miles northeast of Madison, would have been 56 years old
next May. She was the daughter of Bryant and Rebecca Riley, and her
first husband, Monroe Garnett, died in 1862, and she was married to the
husband who survives her, W.R. Capp, seven years ago. The deceased had
a large circle of friends in Monroe county because of her gentle,
loving, and kind disposition. "To know her was to love her," hence she
was surrounded with loving friends and relatives. She was a member of
the Christian church, and though her suffering during her sickness was
most intense, she bore it with the utmost patience and Christian
fortitude. Death had no sting for her, and she died as she lived in
full assurance of faith. She leaves a husband, two sons, and a large
circle (of) relations and friends to mourn her loss. We shall nave more
have the pleasure of her association on earth, but we may live so as to
meet her in that "Home of the soul."
