Missouri.



Resolution.

In Loving Remembrance of Claude H. Lightner.



"Whereas, Our heavenly Father has taken from us our beloved brother and
co-laborer, Claude H. Lightner. Therefore, be it

Resolved, That in his death the Session of the Madison congregation of
the Cumberland Presbyterian church loses one of its most faithful and
consistent co-laborers in the Master's vineyard.

Resolved, That the community has lost a peerless citizen, the curch a
strong advocate and the home a devoted lover.

Resolved, That we bow with humble submission to Him who doeth all things
well, and though we feel his absence deeply, we know that our loss is
his eternal gain, and we confidently look forward to that time when we
shall meet him in the beautiful city of God.

Done by the order of the Session, this 30th day of Nov, 1897.
