Untitled, undated article; original source unknown. Extracted from the
newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of
Madison, Missouri.

"Mrs. A. Garnett, who had been very low of flux for some three weeks,
but who was thought to be improving the middle of last wee, grew worse
on Friday morning and continued (sinking) till Sunday, (unknown) at five
o'clock when she expired. Mrs. Garnett was spoken of as a most
excellent woman and good neighbor and these sayings were verified by the
continual inquiries by our people as to her condition while she lay
sick. Deceased was about sixty years of age. She was buried at the
Swindell grave yard Monday at 11 o'clock."
