Untitled, undated article; original source unknown. Extracted from the
newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of
Madison, Missouri.
Sadness and gloom has agin fallen over us in the death of Robt. G.
Berry, who departed this life Friday morning, Jan. 27th, of pneumonia.
He had been quite poorly for several months past, and all that could be,
was done for him, but of no avail; his mission here was ended, his work
was done, and his soul was wafted on angel wings to join his father,
mother, sister, and other loved ones in the "golden streets of the new
Jerusalem." His remains were laid to rest in the Mt. Airy cemetery.
His funeral was preached by Rev. W.B. Craig. He will be missed in his
family, in his community and in the hearts of many of his friends; there
will be a vacancy which no one can fill. May we meet him again on the
other shore."
