Second half of undated article; probably from the Paris Mercury.
Extracted from the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs.
Nannie Brown of Madison, Missouri.
Two Good Men Gone.
"One more vacant chair and another family circle is broken by the death
of W.H. Noel, of this place. After a long life of service he went
peacefully to rest like a tired child upon its mother's breast. For a
period of over fifty years he had lived in this community, and was
highly esteemed by a large circle of friends and acquaintances. He was
a man of strong faith, which gave him courage and conviction to do and
suffer the Master whom he loved. He was even tempted, kindly disposed,
sympathetic, attentive to the sick, helpful in council. His life of
morality and honesty made all better with whom he cam in contact. He
will be missed the most by those who knew him best. His life is ended
and his reward is certain."
