I just found out that some of my husbands line are in Monroe county. I found today a MOORE family on the 1850 Monroe county census.
MOORE Austin 44 KY
...Catharine 43 VA
...Wm. M. 18 MO
...James T. 15 MO
...Nancy J. 13 MO
...Sarah E. 11 MO
...John M. 9 MO
...Robert F. 7 MO
Catharine maiden name is METEER. The MITCHELL's in Monroe County may also be related. Can anyone give me a death date & place of burial for Catharine? One record I find states she died in Paris. I don't have the 1860 Monroe county census, & I didn't see them on the 1870 Monroe county census. I checked Cedar Grove & Mount Airy transcriptions on the internet but didn't find them. Any help on this is appreciated. Thanks. Geraldine
