In Memory.
"Of our brother, Hiram Hinebaugh, whose death occurred near Rowena,
Audrain Co., Dec. 1894. Deceased was born in Pennsylvania in the year
1857; came to Missouri when but a small boy, in the year 1882. He was
married to Miss Bettie Bennett, in 1886. She died, leaving him with
three small children - two girls and a boy, on girl and a boy preceding
him to the grave. He joined the Baptist church, at Hickory Grove, and
moved his membership to Bethlehem, and lived a consistent member until
he died. In 1887 he was married to Miss Lou Hatly, who still survives
him with two small children, two brothers and one sister besides
numerous other relatives to mourn his (unknown). But we mourn not those
who (have lost) hope. He expressed a desire to get well, but said if it
was not the Lord's will, he was ready to go. Brother, wife and
children, may we all live from this on, so that when our time comes, we
can say, we are ready."
"Dearest brother, thou hast left us,
Sorrow fills our hearts to-day;
But beyond this vale of sorrow,
Tears will all be wiped away.
Brother dear, thou are sweetly resting,
Cold may be thine earthly tomb,
But the angels sweetly whispered,
Come and live with us at home.
His Sister.
