Undated article; probably extracted from the Madison Times. Extracted
from the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie
Brown of Madison, Missouri.
A Double Wedding.
"Married, Sunday, August 29th at the home of James Prowell, an uncle of
the brides, near Centralia, Miss Lillian Quisenberry and Marshal Brown,
of this vicinity, and Miss Bessie Quisenberry, sister of Miss Lillian
and Thomas Barkley, of near Centralia, by Elder Smith, of Centralia.
Miss Lillian is well known to the people of Madison having made her home
with the family of B.F. Dry for the past two years and has made many
friends by her pleasant and cheerfully disposition. Mr. Brown is a
substantial farmer and noted for his many sterling qualities. The Times
extends congratulations to these worthy couples."
