Untitled, undated article; original source unknown. Extracted from the
newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of
Madison, Missouri.



"Orion Brownfield, Sergeant in Company B, 6th U.S. Cavalry, died with
malarial fever at Ft. Leavenworth, Kas. Monday morning, and his remains
were brought here for interment Wednesday. He was brought home sick
from Santiago, Cuba, during the Spanish-American war (. unable to read
