(Resolutions of Respect.)

A respect of the (. unable to read several words) to rest our dearly
beloved brother, W.H. Palmer, who died Feb. (21st), (1903), at his home
in Holliday.

Therefore, be it resolved: That in the death of Brother Palmer his
family has lost a devoted husband and father; the lodge a faithful and
useful member, and the community an upright and honored citizen.

Resolved; That we will ever bear in grateful remembrance the zeal and
fidelity with which Bro. Palmer discharged all his Masonic duties and
will try to imitate his devotion to the grand principles of our
Fraternity.

Resolved; That we tender our heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved
relatives and recommend them to the care of that God whom Bro. Palmer
served and in whom he trusted.

Resolved; That a copy of these resolutions be spread upon our records
and published in the Madison Times."

"Mrs. William Palmer, died at her home at Holliday, Saturday, February
28, at 1:30 o'clock, after a week's illness of pneumonia. Funeral
services were conducted by Rev. J.D. Smith Monday afternoon, after which
her remains were laid to rest in the Holliday cemetery beside her
husband who had preceded her to the grave just one week. Mrs. Palmer
was a devoted member of the Baptist church, a sacrificing mother, and
good neighbor. We extend sympathies to the family and friends."
