Times-Record and probably reprinted in the Madison Times. Extracted from
the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of
Madison, Missouri.
"Mrs. D.C. Enochs died (at the) family home in this city last Sunday
night. Mrs. Enochs was nearly 40 years of age and was a good wife and
mother, and had the respect and admiration of a large circle of
neighbors and acquaintances. The funeral was held from the Christian
church, Tuesday, the services being conducted by Rev. Day, Rev. Radford
being sick. The interment was in the I.O.O.F. cemetery, south of this
city.
Mollie Ann Enochs was the daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Harris and was
born July 4, 1861 and was married to D.C. Enochs Dec. 24, 1876, and to
them were born seven children, Mrs. John Ball, of Brunswick, Mo., and
Daisie, Lottie, Robert, Laura, Pearl and Harry, of this city. Mrs.
Enochs joined the Christian church at the early age of 16, and was a
consistent member of the church at the time of her death. The bereaved
family have the sincere sympathy of the entire community in their
affliction and sad bereavement. - Blackwell (Okla.) Times-Record.
Mrs. Enochs was born and raised in this vicinity and the Times with the
many friends of the deceased extends sympathy to the family in this sad
hour."
