Death of Marvin Lenhart.

"One of the saddest deaths that we have been called upon to chronicle
for many a long day, is that of Marvin Lenhart, which occurred at the
home of his parents near town, Sunday morning. Marvin was the only son
of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Lenhart, was born Sept. 30th, 1878, and united with
the M.E. Church, South, Dec 24th, 1894, since which time he had lived a
consistent and earnest Christian. He was a bright young man and gave
much promise of a successful and useful life, when he was stricken down
with Consumption, and after a lingering illness of some months duration,
he quietly passed away as one going to peaceful sleep. The funeral
discourse over his remains were preached by Rev. A.S. Bowies, at the
M.E. Church, Monday in the presence of a large congregation of sorrowing
relatives and friends, after which his remains were conveyed to the
Madison Cemetery where they were laid to rest. The sorrowing parents,
sister and other relatives, have the warm sympathy of all in their sad
bereavement."
