In the genealogy room, there is an alphabetical index card file which has a card for each individual person buried in a Monroe County cemetery on record. The card is annotated with the book number (hard bound and numbered 1 through 8) in which the cemetery and person can be found. There is also a cross reference index of cemeteries by name.
Hope this helps facilitate your research.
