Joseph Nile Branham 77 Found Dead Thursday Morning



"Joseph Nile Branham, 77, Madison resident was found dead in bed this
morning early by his wife. He had been in ill health for some time and
hospitalized several times in the past two years.

Mr. and Mrs. Branham moved to Madison around two years ago from their
farm south of Madison, retiring from farm work due to Mr. Branham's
health. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Branham, born Feb. 27,
1884 at Clark, Missouri.

Surviving are his wife, Annie; two daughters, Mrs. Wesley Houchins,
Madison and Mrs. Elmer Cook, Moberly; six grandchildren, Patsy Houchins,
Madison, Imogene Stephenson, Springfield, Missouri, Gerald Houchins,
Wenzville, Missouri, Bobby Joe Ragsdale and Billy Ragsdale in the army
service, stationed in the state of Washington; and Mrs. Robert Boots,
Moberly; and ten great grandchildren. The body is at the
Thompson-Mackler Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at
this time."
