Nannie Brown of Madison, Missouri.



Nancy Moss & Weldon Bird Wed



"Miss Nancy Moss, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Moss of East Prairie and
Weldon Bird, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Bird of Madison were married in
a single ring ceremony at 4:00 Sunday afternoon in the Christian church
with the pastor, the Rev. C.W. Cornn, reading the service. The couple
were attended by Miss Beverly young and Jimmie Holohan. The bride wore
a white linen suit and white hat. Her accessories were powder blue.
She wore a corsage of white carnations. Mrs. Bird graduated from the
East Prairie High School and in 1954 received a degree of bachelor of
music education from Central College, Fayette. She is a member of Phi
Beta the national music fraternity, and was a member of the Central
College concert band. She taught music and English in the Madison high
school during the past school year. Mr. Bird attended Madison schools
and is a graduate of Madison high school. He is associated with his
father and brothers in the operation of several farms. The couple are
living in the apartment of Dr. T.R. Turner, which they have recently
furnished."
