Mrs. Ada Legrand, 86, Madison, Dies



"Mrs. Ada Legrand, 86 year old widow of the late C.A. Legrand, died in
Whitaker hospital in Moberly at about 1 o'clock Monday afternoon after
being a patient there for three months. Mrs. Legrand was born in Monroe
County and spent her entire life here until the death of her husband in
1919, when she moved to Mexico to make her home with a daughter, Mrs.
J.L. Ragsdale. She is survived by Mrs. Ragsdale and a son, Glenn
Legrand, near Madison, and a granddaughter, Miss Elma Ragsdale, Mexico.
The body was at the Thompson Funeral Home here where services were held
Wednesday afternoon. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery north of
Madison."
