Undated article from unknown source. Extracted from the newspaper
article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of Madison,
Missouri.



Mrs. Alma Pearl Kimbrell



"Funeral services were held in Kansas City for Alma Pearl Kimbrell,
daughter of Richard and Alma Mitchell. She was born in 1880 and passed
away at the Memorial Hospital in Independence, Mo. on December 22, 1962.
She was married to Rev. John Wesley Kimbrell, a minister of the
Methodist Church. She served dutifully in many activities with her
husband until his death May 10, 1944. To this union six children were
born, Marion Kimbrell of Kansas City; Charles Kimbrell, a minister of
Primghar, Iowa; Robert Kimbrell of Ann Harbor, Michigan and Joe Kimbrell
of Independence and an infant daughter preceded her in death.

She is survived by her four sons, on sister, Miss Thelma Mitchell, one
nephew, Billy Mitchell, Paris, seven grandchildren and one great
granddaughter. Mrs. Kimbrell's body was brought to Madison where short
services were conducted by Rev. Gladdis at the Methodist Church at 2:30
p.m. Monday. Burial was in the Sunset Hill Cemetery."
