Nannie Brown of Madison, Missouri.



Miss Mattie Heathman Dies



"Miss Mattie Heathman, 73, died at 2:30 o'clock this morning in the
McCormick hospital at Moberly where she had been a patient for several
days. She was a daughter of Mrs. Henry Lewis. Mrs. Heathman was born
June 15, 1882, near Wright City and was the last surviving member of a
family of seven children. Her husband Gentry Heathman, preceded her in
death several years ago. There are no survivors. James King of Madison
and Mrs. Chester Short of St. Louis were reared in the Gentry Heathman
home prior to his marriage to Mrs. Heathman. Mrs. Heathman was a member
of the Madison Methodist Church. The body is at the Thompson Funeral
home where services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon
by her pastor, the Rev. William Winter. Burial will be in Sunset Hill
cemetery."
