Extracted from the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs.
Nannie Brown of Madison, Missouri.



Mrs. Allen Durbin



"Mrs. Allie Durbin, 85, widow of the late Eb Durbin, died at her home at
Holliday Tuesday morning after an illness of three weeks. She was a
native of Illinois, but came to this vicinity when 14 years old.
Funeral services are being held at the Holliday Christian Church
Thursday afternoon at 2:00 with Rev. Douglas Cate of Paris officiating.
Surviving Mrs. Durbin are two daughters, Misses Josie and Essie Durbin
of the home and a son, Robert Durbin, of Goss."
