Article from unknown source with handwritten date of 1957. Extracted
from the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie
Brown of Madison, Missouri.
Fred Overfelt
"Fred Overfelt, 65, formerly of Holliday, died unexpectedly at this home
in Sedalia Tuesday while mowing his lawn, friends here were notified
Wednesday. Burial was to be at Sedalia. Overfelt was a son of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Raleigh Overfelt and lived at Holliday until after War I,
when he went to Sedalia. A barber, he had only recently sold his shop
and retired. Surviving are two brothers, Baxter and Russell Overfelt."
