Extracted from the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs.
Nannie Brown of Madison, Missouri.
Mrs. Ben Dry
"Mrs. Ben Dry died Friday afternoon after about three years illness, at
a Paris rest home. Mrs. Dry was the daughter of Benona and Elizabeth
Stuart Cunningham, (and) was born in Monroe County on may 4, 1882. She
had lived her entire life in this community. She is survived by her
husband, one brother, Dan Cunningham of Chariton, Ia., and three
sisters, Mrs. earl Dry and Mrs. Garland Mitchell of Madison and Mrs.
Percy Sherman of Moberly, four nieces and a nephew. She was a member of
the Holiday Christian Church. Funeral services were held at the Madison
Christian church at 2 o'clock Sunday by the Rev. S.B. Owings. Burial
was in Bethel Cemetery, Holliday."
