Mrs. Holohan of Madison Dies of Heart Attack



"Madison - Mrs. Carrie Josephine Holohan, Madison, widow of Charles
Holohan, died this morning at 8:50 o'clock at her home. She suffered a
heart attack about 08:30 o'clock this morning. Born Jan 5, 1884, in
Monroe County, where she spent her entire life, Mrs. Holohan was a
daughter of the late Tucker and Sallie Swindell Hayden. After her
husband's death in 1959, she moved to Madison from a farm south of
Madison. Mrs. Holohan was a member of the Christian Church. Surviving
are two sons, Gale and Elwood, Madison; five grandchildren; and seven
great-grandchildren. The body is at the Thompson and Mackler Funeral
Home in Madison. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in
the Madison Christian Church with the Rev. C.W. Cornn., Christian
minister, in charge. He will be assisted by Rev. Robert Leach, pastor.
Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery at Madison."
