Extracted from the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs.
Nannie Brown of Madison, Missouri.



John William Moore



"John William Moore, age 89 years, died at his home in Holliday
Wednesday morning, February 2. Mr. Moore was born in Holliday and had
spent his life in that community. He is survived by a a son, Harry
Moore and a daughter, O.D. Moore and 3 sisters, Mrs. Cora Moore of
Madison, Mrs. Mary Bradley, Holliday and Mrs. Addie Whittenberg,
Clarence. His wife preceded him in death, January 13th. The body will
remain at the home in Holliday until the funeral hour. Services will be
held at the Mt. Pleasant Church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial
will be in Bethel Cemetery, Holliday."
