Nannie Brown of Madison, Missouri.



Mrs. Mollie Kate Smith



"Mrs. Mollie Kate Smith, 77, died at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at the
Pleasant Rest Home in Paris, where she had been a patient for twelve
days. She was born December 26th, 1882 at Rocky Mount, Virginia, the
daughter of W.R. Smith and Lodeeska Carter Smith. She had been a member
of the Primitive Baptist Church for 27 years. She is survived by one
brother, Willie Smith, of Trenton, Mo., three sisters, Mrs. Ettie
Darley, Moberly; Mrs. Emma Bryant and Mrs. Hattie Bryant, Madison. She
was preceded in death by a sister, Mrs. Alice Darst in 1926. Funeral
services were held at Thompson and Mackler Chapel, Wednesday at 1:30
p.m. Burial was in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Madison."
