Undated article from unknown source with handwritten date of Jul 1957.
Extracted from the newspaper article collection started in 1879 by Mrs.
Nannie Brown of Madison, Missouri.



Mrs. Ben Durbin



"Mrs. Ben Durbin, 66 years old, died Tuesday at her home at Holliday.
She had been in ill health for many years, and hospitalized many times
recently. She was the former Miranda Jane Akers, and was married to Mr.
Durbin in 1911. Surviving besides her husband, are one son, Carter, of
Moberly; three brothers, Will Akers of St. Louis; Dallas of East orange,
New Jersey, Leonard of Detroit, Michigan; and two sisters, Mrs. Nannie
Evans and Mrs. Curtis Dixon, both of Madison. Mr. and Mrs. Durbin had
one child who died in infancy. Funeral services are being held at the
Holliday Christian Church at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon. Burial will
be in Bethel cemetery at Holliday."
