article collection started in 1879 by Mrs. Nannie Brown of Madison,
Missouri.
Mrs. Victor Wade
"Mrs. Maggie Sparks Wade, 66, died at her home in Paris, Friday 1:30
p.m. Mrs. Wade was born December 15, 1890, daughter of Robert Lee and
Katherine Smith Sparks. She was married to Victor Wade retire mail
carrier in 1910 and they spent their lives in Madison, moving to Paris
last fall. She and her husband were active in community affairs. In
the fall she and her husband moved to Paris to make their home, where a
son, Henry Lee operates the Foodliner. Mrs. Wade had been in ill health
for several years and seriously ill for three weeks.
She is survived by her husband, two sons, Henry Lee Wad, Madison; Dr.
Walter Wade, Superior, Wis.; a brother, Marvin Sparks, Paris; and five
grandchildren, Victor Hayden Wade, Madison; Jim, Steve, Tommy and
Georgia Lee Wade, Superior, Wis. The body was at the Thompson Funeral
Home until hour of the funeral. Services were conducted at 2 o'clock
Sunday afternoon in the Christian Church by Rev. C.W. Cornn. Burial
was in Sunset Hill cemetery."
