Wesley Elsberry Dies



"Wesley Elsberry, 82, died at 7 o'clock Wednesday morning in Ellis
Fischel hospital where he had been a patient for the past three weeks.
He was born near Madison, April 12, 1874. Mr. Elsberry was united in
marriage to Ida Mitchell in 1895 and to this union six children were
born. A son, Archie, and his wife preceded him in death. After his
wife died he lived in their country home until he became ill, then he
moved to the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Harley, near Madison. He
is survived by four sons, Gerald, Garlands, and Freddie Elsberry of
Madison; and Weldon Elsberry of Moberly; and one daughter, Mrs. Fred
Harley, of Madison; one half-sister, Mrs. Luther Bryson of New
Bloomfield; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. The body lay
in state at the Thompson Funeral Home in Madison until the hour of the
funeral where the services will be at 2 o'clock Friday 25, conducted by
Rev. Steve Owens. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Madison."
