Nannie Brown of Madison, Missouri.
Archie L. Johnson Funeral Sunday at Oak Grove Church
"Madison - Funeral services for Archie L. Johnson, 70, who died suddenly
Thursday, will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon in the Oak Grove
Church, north of Madison, by the Rev. Claude Hamilton. Burial will be
in the adjoining cemetery. The body will be in the Thompson Funeral
Home in Madison until time for the funeral. Mr. Johnson, who had been
in ill health, died as he finished eating his evening meal. He is
survived by three sons, Laycester Johnson, of the home, Ciomeritta
Johnson, Clarence, and John Wess, near Madison; two daughters, Mrs.
William Woods, Fayette, and Mrs. Glen Herron, Moberly; 10 grandchildren,
one great grandchild and tow step-grandchildren; two brothers, Joe
Johnson, near Clarence, and Herbert Johnson, Boonville; and three
sisters, Mrs. Carl Haynes, Moberly, and Mrs. Dean McArthur and Miss
Bertha Johnson, near Madison. Mrs. Johnson, the former Miss Ora
Vincent, died two years (ago)."
