Rites for Paul D. Miller



"Paul D. Miller, 63, died at 3:25 o'clock Tuesday morning at his home
near Mt. Airy on Highway No. 3. Mr. Miller was born June 1, 1892, in
Plevna. In 1914 he was wed to Miss Vera Jones of Edina. He owned and
operated the locker plant in Madison for several years. Mr. Miller was
a retired rural mail carrier for 28 years, having worked out of Madison
for 20 years. He retired in November 1954, due to ill health, and since
that time had owned and operated the Miller Locker and Grocery Store at
Mt. Airy. He was a member of the Methodist church and the Masonic
Lodge. Surviving are his wife; three children, Weldon and Don Miller of
Los Angeles, California, and Dean Miller of Mexico; a brother, Dallas
Miller of New Haven, Conn., and two grandchildren. Funeral services
were conducted at 2:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Pleasant
Prairie Church near Shelbyville."
