Hugo Gwynn, Once of Holliday, Dies



"Holliday - Word has been received here by a niece, Mrs. Harry Summers,
of the death of Hugh Gwynn on Saturday following a major operation at
St. Gabriel, Calif. Mr. Gwynn, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gwynn,
was born near Holliday, living here for a number of years, before going
to California. His wife is the former Miss Lura James, also of
Holliday. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Howard Gwynn of
Los Angeles and Tyler Gwynn of St. Gabriel; three grandsons and
granddaughter. One grandson preceded him in death. Burial was in
California on Monday."
